Smart Baskets
Baskets let you group instruments into themed portfolios with target allocations and automatic rebalancing.
Creating a Basket
Go to Baskets in the sidebar and click Create Basket. The 3-step wizard walks you through:
Step 1: Pick Instruments
Choose instruments using:
- ▶ Preset Group — Top 10, DeFi, Layer 1, Gaming, Meme, AI & Data, etc.
- ▶ Custom Selection — Hand-pick from the full instrument list
Step 2: Set Distribution
Choose how to allocate across instruments:
Equal Weight
Even distribution across all instruments.
AI Recommend
AI analyzes the instruments and suggests optimal allocation weights.
Manual
Set exact percentages per instrument yourself.
Step 3: Configure
- Basket Name — Descriptive name (e.g., "DeFi Core")
- Allocation USD — Total capital to invest
- Mode — Paper or Live
- Rebalance Interval — 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days
- Exchange Account — Which account to trade on
Managing Baskets
From the basket detail page, you can:
Rebalance Now Trigger an immediate rebalance to target allocations
Pause Pause auto-rebalancing. Holdings stay.
Resume Resume auto-rebalancing schedule
Stop Stop the basket. Option to liquidate all holdings.
How Rebalancing Works
At each rebalance interval, the basket compares current holdings to target allocations. If any instrument has drifted beyond the threshold, the basket sells overweight positions and buys underweight ones to bring the portfolio back to target.
