AI Strategy Builder
Describe how you want to trade in plain English and let AI assemble a matching bot configuration—strategy type, parameters, risk settings, and instruments—without manually tuning every field.
What It Does
You write a short natural-language description (for example, “steady dollar-cost averaging into blue chips with tight stops”). The AI interprets your intent, selects an appropriate strategy from the platform’s catalog, and fills in allocation, stop-loss / take-profit, instruments, and related options. You review the generated config before deploying.
How to Use It
Open Strategy Builder from the app navigation. You can either type your own description in the text area or start from a template preset and edit it. When you are ready, use Build Strategy to generate a configuration preview.
Template Presets
Quick starts include:
- ▶ Conservative DCA — Gradual accumulation with a defensive posture
- ▶ Momentum Scalper — Shorter-term momentum-style setup
- ▶ Grid Trader — Range-bound grid-style parameters
- ▶ RSI Swing — Swing trading aligned with RSI-style logic
- ▶ Breakout Hunter — Breakout-focused configuration
How “Build Strategy” Works
When you click Build Strategy, the AI reads your description (and any template you started from), maps it to a supported strategy, and proposes concrete parameters: thresholds, position sizing hints, instruments, and risk controls. The result is a structured bot config you can inspect before saving or deploying.
Understanding the Config Preview
The preview typically includes:
- Strategy badge — Which strategy family was chosen
- Confidence — How well the text matched available strategies
- Allocation — Suggested capital allocation for the bot
- SL / TP — Stop-loss and take-profit style settings where applicable
- Instruments — Pairs or assets the bot would trade
- Risk level — Overall risk stance implied by the config
How to Refine
After a build, adjust the description with follow-up instructions—for example, “make it more conservative”, “add SOL”, or narrower time horizons—and run Build Strategy again. Iterate until the preview matches what you want.
Deploying as a Paper Bot
When you click Deploy for a paper deployment, TraderBotz creates a Paper bot using the generated configuration so you can observe behavior without live exchange risk. You can later promote or recreate settings for live trading from the standard bot flows.
AI Usage
Strategy Builder calls your configured AI provider (same as elsewhere in the app). Usage is recorded on the AI Usage dashboard so you can monitor spend and token consumption over time.
